LMAO….. and some good news!!! woman gives birth on a train about 18.18 enroute to Ashford at west malling. National Rail then tweeted there would be delays between Otford and Maidstone at around 8.30pm after the woman gave birth to a baby girl.
The tweet said: “We’ve now been informed that a passenger has given birth to a baby girl.
“Congratulations to the mother who gave birth to a baby girl Phoebe on board the 18:18 London Victoria to Ashford train.”
A spokesman for Southeastern said he did not know who helped deliver the child.
He said: “The baby is doing OK and has been named Phoebe.
“The normal protocol for a medical emergency is for the conductor to administer first aid but it is likely he would have had to put a message out to ask for help.”
While passengers were happy about the incident, a grumpy customer tweeted:
“That’s the first good excuse Southeastern have come up with for a delayed train.”
But a happy and excited customer sent her congratulatory message via same tweeter saying:
@thumper–1111: “Baby girl just been born on 18:18 Victoria to ashford at west malling. marvelous grats to parents hope all is well.”
