Death comes. It comes to each family each person and is a part of the cycle right? We expect it when our family members are old and totally lived many decades. Has that been the case of Kefee?
We expect it when our loved one has been ill for a long time. Has Kefee’s death not been a sudden heart break to all of us who believed and supported her?
From the day we come into the world kicking and screaming or quiet and unassuming, we are one step closer to the end. Some try to defy the end by praying and hoping to live longer through vodoo….Has Kefee not believed in the giver of life and worshipped him through songs?
But the fact of the matter is when the bell tolls, it may be for us. It will inevitably be for us. It takes much soul searching to accept it when death comes totally unexpectedly.

Nigeria is the centre of Nollywood the 3rd biggest movie industry in the entertainment world and there’s a drama going on ‘live’ as I write, it’s called, “the chibok girls”. It is the sad but deeply touching true life story of some innocent girls kidnapped at their school by… Who else but, Boko Haram. Oh! Sorry, you must have heard about it. I just wasted your time.
The girls were kidnapped two weeks ago but the drama started this week and trust this center that has given the world such epic movies like ossuofiasian, Mr. Ibu in london and the last flight to Abuja.
The dramatist personnel were not lacking. The people who kept quiet when Chimamanda’s ‘half a yellow sun’ that told the story of how genocide was committed against millions was banned decided to jump to the streets and cry for the release of the kidnapped angels. But, that’s not why i am not going to cry. But, it’s really saddening that all these street cry and drama over the Chibok girls didn’t start until some western organizations picked interest and NGO ‘s and people who desperately needed to update their CV’s and enhance their funding opportunities started jumping out.
But, that’s not why I am not going to cry.
I am not going to cry because my heart is so much hardened and I have lost feelings of sympathy. The truth is that I tried as I could, I just couldn’t shed even an atom of tears. My eyes are completely dried of tears and I have shed more than enough for a ten life time in this single life just for the simple fact of where I come from and my religion. Continue reading →
He may not be married, but he sure knows about marriage; would you agree with Pope Francis:
“It’s true that in married life there are many difficulties; with work, with not having enough money, problems with the children. Many difficulties, and often the husband and wife get irritated and they fight with each other; they argue. There are always fights in a marriage, right? Continue reading →
Women are delicate as eggs, so handle them with care. Men are like babies, pamper them with love. Don’t say hurtful words to your partner cos you will never take it back once said. Think before you speak no matter how angry you are. Lots of love guys, your humble darling…egosentrik…*winks*
This justifies the quote by Jesse Jackson “If you fall behind, run faster.Never give up, never surrender, and rise up against the odds.”

Don’t Quit!!!! “When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low and the debts are high And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When you feel down and low, Rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, Don’t give up though the pace seems slow You may succeed with another blow, Success is failure turned inside out The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.”
