Barely 72 hours after President Goodluck Jonathan set up a committee to facilitate the release of the Chibok schoolgirls, reports say two of the girls have reportedly died.
A statement released by the Associated Press, on Monday, quoted Boko Haram as saying that two of the schoolgirls abducted in Chibok died after snake bite.
Also a member of the sect told Associated Press that 20 others are currently sick.
It would be recalled that President Goodluck Johnathan during the presidential media chat on Sunday said he had no idea of the girls’ whereabouts.
However, he assured that the FG would do everything possible to bring back the girls alive.
