My anger is not just on him, but also, Nigerian leaders who steal our money and subject poor beast like this young man to abject poverty. You can imagine toiling all through the day and hoping that the meal you left at home will be there to eat when you return, only to get home and it’s been cleared. A hungry man is an angry man, however, people should learn not to beat their kids in anger.
Children’s death in Nigeria is growing rapidly as a result of parents hitting their kids in anger. What this man needs is anger management and counselling course, after which he’ll be tried for his crime. THE police in Rivers State have arrested a 29-year-old man, Kingsley Ekerete, who killed his seven-year-old daughter over a plate of boiled rice in Obimama, Oyigbo Local Government Area of the state.
Kingsley Ekerete, 29, a commercial driver who hails from Nto Osung community in Ikot Ekpene Local Area of Akwa Ibom State, holds just a First Leaving Certificate and has to drive his bus daily through the bustling traffic of Port Harcourt to make ends meet and put food on the table for his young family.
Judging from his looks, no one would have taken him for a murderer or imagined that he is capable of killing his own child.
